Description
As part of its America 250 observance and year-long emphasis on reawakening the American spirit, College of the Ozarks will dedicate a new POW/MIA Memorial in Patriots Park.
The memorial will honor American service members who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action, providing a place for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. Designed by Nixa artist James Hall III, the memorial will feature a marble monument, an eternal flame, and symbolic elements recognizing the sacrifices of those who endured captivity and those who are still unaccounted for.
The dedication ceremony will be open to the public and will begin at 3:00 p.m.
