Volunteer and help us pick up trash from Table Rock Lake shorelines! Now in its 15th year, the Table Rock Shoreline Cleanup has removed almost 200 tons of trash and 3000 tires from the lake!
We are looking for people with boats, people to form teams, offer sponsorship donations and all the other help to organize and carry out this annual event.
1. Come by our offices to pick up gloves, trash bags, dumpster map and team sign-up sheet. Make sure you know how many you'll need (estimates OK). If you want to be included in another team, call us and we'll get your information to be able to place you with a team. We'll have supplies ready by March 15, 2015.
2. Do the cleanup in your chosen area whenever you'd like around the April 4th cleanup date. Since its Easter weekend, you can choose to do the cleanup the weekend before or after. Dumpsters should be placed between April 3-5. (Dumpster Map) Enjoy, bring lots of water, wear sturdy shoes and be safe while cleaning up the debris off the lake. Always wear a life jacket while on a boat or on the water.
3. Fill out and turn in the team sign-up sheet (trash tracking sheet). Download and print the sheet below or you can pick one up at our office when you come by to get your gloves and trash bags. Use this sheet to list your team's t-shirt sizes and work accomplished. This information allows us to continue to get the word out to others to help clean up the over 700 miles of shoreline on Table Rock Lake!
4. Turn the completed sheet in to us after the cleanup to receive your free t-shirts and camping vouchers for the Table Rock Lake Corps of Engineers campgrounds. You can fax it to: 417-739-9889 or email contact@trlwq.org (mail to PO box 606, Kimberling City, MO 65686).
