About Us

College of the Ozarks, founded in 1906 near Branson, Missouri, is a Christian liberal arts college known as “Hard Work U.” Through our Work Education Program, students work campus jobs to cover their costs, graduate debt-free, and are equipped to serve with faith, character, and purpose. The College’s five pillars—academic, vocational, Christian, patriotic, and cultural—reflect its mission to develop citizens of Christlike character who are well-educated, hardworking, and patriotic.
