Description
Faith, Family & Country Heritage Museum Hosts Holocaust Exhibit Nov. 9th thru Dec. 7th
The Faith, Family & Country Heritage Museum in Branson West will be hosting a special 24-panel exhibit to celebrate those "Righteous Among the Nations" who throughout the Holocaust rescued and hid and protected Jewish lives - the children of Israel - in World War II. The “Righteous” designation was proclaimed by the Yad VaShem Worldwide Remembrance Center in Jerusalem. The opening of the exhibit on November 9th coincides with Kristallnacht - the Night of the Breaking of the Glass - when the Nazi regime openly began its Final Solution for the Jews of Germany and surrounding countries in 1938.
Shirah Miriam Aumann, whose husband and his immediate family escaped Germany a few weeks prior to Kristallnacht, will be introducing the Yad VaShem exhibit at the Faith, Family & Country Museum on November 9th at 2:30 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display through Pearl Harbor Day on December 7th. The museum, which focuses on America’s heritage as well as 20th century history - including the Holocaust - is located at 15025 Business Highway 13 in Branson West, across from Vino Cellars.
