The Octoberfest open house is 4-5:30 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Enjoy refreshments, tour the property, and learn about the story of Shady Acre. See the new sign that rebrands Shady Acre Motel to Shady Acre Inn and Suites--it's a new name but the same happy people and the same great hospitality.
