Wine & Dinner Pairing Hosted by Veter...
Description

In keeping with our efforts to prevent suicide within not only the Veterans community but our community at large, we feel the first step is to do what we can to eliminate circumstances that would place an individual in jeopardy of contemplating suicide in the first place. One area that the Veterans of the Ozarks feels strongly about, and is dear to us, is the placement of Certified Service Dogs with Veterans in need of their life saving abilities.
Therefore, the Veterans of the Ozarks has teamed up with the Kimberling City Elks Lodge setting a goal of raising enough money this year to place one service dog from the Heartland Canines for Veterans with a properly vetted Veteran in need. That goal carries a $19,000.00 price tag.
Plan to join the Veterans of the Ozarks and the Kimberling City Elks Lodge 2505 for an amazing evening of fine food and wine elegance at the Elks Lodge 37 Beach Blvd Kimberling City, MO 65686. On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, a Wine & Dinner Pairing experience will be offered courtesy of the Lindwedel Winery. Chef Todd Schrade will prepare and serve a three course gourmet meal while Lindwedel Winery Vintner Adam Jett expertly pairs each course with a fine wine selection for that particular dish.
Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 PM with Dinner at 6:30 PM. Live dinner music will be provided by the Flugelhorn stylings of Chris Conant of Kimberling City.
Pricing is $100 per person or Tables of 8 for $700 which includes a complimentary cocktail during cocktail hour, 3 course gourmet Wine/Dinner Pairing and a Commemorative Souvenir Wine Glass
There will be no 50/50 drawings, raffles, auctions (live or silent) normally associated with fundraising events; rather, just an elegant evening of fabulous food, fine wine and fellowship.
All proceeds will be donated to Heartland Canines for Veterans to assist in providing life changing Service Dogs to disabled Veterans.
This event is open to the public.
