About Us

My name is Tena Foster and I would appreciate the opportunity to be your next Stone County Clerk.

I was recommended for the governor appointment by the former Stone County Clerk to fill her position when she chose to leave her term early. I am knowledgeable in all current responsibilities in the county clerk’s office as I worked for almost five years within the office. The county clerk's office has many responsibilities that are very critical to the citizens and employees of Stone County. For example, county records & budget, human resources, payroll, conducting fair and accurate elections, just to name a few. I had a great working relationship with all of the county employees while being part of the clerk's office and will continue to do so when elected.

This is what I have to offer the people of Stone County, I will bring honesty, trust, ethical behavior, hard work, and successful business experience to this important elected county office.

I want the people's vote, and I want to be the people's choice.
It will be my honor and privilege to have your vote at the primary election on August 2, 2022.
