College of the Ozarks to rebroadcast Fall Convocation with Jenna Bush Hager

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks is excited to announce the rebroadcast of the Leonard B. and Edith Gittinger Fall Convocation, featuring Jenna Bush Hager, available online from Jan. 13 to Feb. 3, 2025.

 

Jenna Bush Hager, co-host of NBC’s TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, best-selling author, and humanitarian, delivered an inspiring presentation on Oct. 10, 2024, in The Howell W. Keeter Athletic Complex at College of the Ozarks. The event, moderated by nationally acclaimed journalist and C of O professor Erin Hayes-Dennis, was themed “Reflections on Life in the White House.”

 

Hager shared heartfelt stories and lessons from her time in The White House, her career, and her personal journey as a mother and advocate for global causes. She captivated the audience with her reflections on faith, family, and service, offering words of wisdom and encouragement to students and attendees alike.

The original convocation program also featured a performance by award-winning vocalist Mary Millben, renowned as “America’s National Anthem Singer.” Millben performed the National Anthem and a closing song, adding a moving musical element to the evening.

 

Through The Keeter Center for Character Education, the annual Fall Convocation underscores the College’s commitment to promoting good character by bringing influential national leaders to campus to share their stories and values with students.
