JOB TITLE:  SPF-PFS Grant Project Coordinator
POSITION TYPE:  12 Month, Full Time, 40 hours per week
SALARY:  Based on level of experience; range from $40,000 - $55,000
TRAVEL:  Up to 15 \%, not including local travel 
WORK LOCATION: Taney and Stone Counties, Missouri – Remote Office
OTHER: This is a federal grant-Funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon the successful renewal of grant funds and the satisfactory performance of duties.
 
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Project Coordinator (PC) will work with the ADAPT (Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team) Program Director to ensure the effective implementation of the ADAPT Partnerships for Success grant project - a substance use prevention and mental health awareness project in Taney and Stone counties. The Project Coordinator will work with the ADAPT coalition and stakeholders to implement the evidence-based, data-driven prevention strategies as outlined in the SAMHSA SPF-PFS grant award. The Project Coordinator reports to the ADAPT Project Director and will be employed through the Branson School District, who serves as the grant’s fiscal sponsor

  • Under the supervision of the Program Director, the PC will:
  • Provide leadership in the implementation of the ADAPT Partnerships for Success project
  • Will lead with integrity and transparency as a representative of ADAPT at all times
  • Adhere with fidelity to grant requirements, timelines, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with supervisor, partners, coalition members, consultants, and vendors to ensure that the goals and objectives of grant are being met
  • Respond to partner needs with resources, technical assistance, and guidance to ensure the goals and objectives of the grant are met
  • Work closely with Program Director and data analyst to ensure  adherence to data collection and analysis protocol
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure success of ADAPT and the SPF-PFS program 
  • Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences as required
  • Must be willing to obtain Prevention Specialist certification if not already certified.
QUALIFICATIONS
 Education:
 • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health sciences preferred
 
Skills and Knowledge:
  • 2+ years’ experience implementing community substance use prevention best practices  • 2+ years’ experience in data-driven strategic planning and evaluation 
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills 
  • Skilled in delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including youth, adults, and high-level decision-makers
  • High level of maturity, self-motivated, mission driven, and ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a variety of settings
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact with diverse groups
