Branson Bank Honors Veterans At Rise & Shine Service

(Branson, MO) As the sun rose in the early hours of October 8th, the community gathered at Branson Bank’s Highway 248 location to honor four local veterans, recipients of the bank’s Veteran of the Quarter Program. The annual event held at the Highway 248 bank location highlighted each veteran’s military service and personal story, providing an opportunity for the community to recognize their contributions and sacrifices. Those recognized include Heather Lawson, Philip Eilers, Dale Washburn, and Gordon Gosh.
After morning fellowship, Eric Simkins, President of Branson Bank, welcomed guests at 7:30 am and shared about the bank’s commitment to community and veterans.
“Since 2009, our veteran program has been a meaningful way for us to express our gratitude for the men and women whose service and sacrifice have helped shape our nation,” said Simkins. “It is an honor to recognize these four outstanding veterans who continue to make a difference serving throughout the Taney and Stone County communities.”
Simkins invited Dean Harmon, EVP of Branson Bank to deliver the opening prayer. The program continued with the introduction of the Hollister High School Army JROTC, under the direction of 1SG Joshua Haines to perform the flag raising. As the flag began to rise, Stephanie Callahan beautifully sang the National Anthem and later during the program she sang “God Bless the USA.”
