Free-admission Christmas market at The Shoppes at Branson Meadows will feature artisan vendors, European-inspired food and drinks, live entertainment and a 26-foot Christmas tree.
BRANSON, Mo., July 27, 2026 — Branson will welcome a new holiday tradition this year with the opening of the Branson Christkindlmarkt, a European-style Christmas market inspired by the warmth, charm and festive atmosphere of traditional holiday village markets.

The parking lot at The Shoppes at Branson Meadows will be transformed into a walkable Christmas village filled with lights, music, decorated vendor huts and seasonal food and drinks. Admission will be free, encouraging families, couples, residents and visitors to stroll through the market, shop, dine and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.
“Our goal is to create something truly special for Branson—a place where families, couples and visitors can slow down, enjoy the season and experience the charm of a traditional European Christmas market right here in the Ozarks,” said Jenny Caro, founder and executive producer of the Branson Christkindlmarkt.
The market will feature a curated collection of artisans and specialty vendors offering handcrafted gifts, holiday merchandise and distinctive products. Guests will also be able to enjoy seasonal foods and treats, including melted raclette cheese, chimney cakes, Wiener schnitzel, roasted chestnuts, German sausages, chocolates and more. Beverage offerings will include mulled wine (Glühwein), beer, hot chocolate, cider and other traditional holiday drinks served in collectible Branson Christkindlmarkt boot mugs.
Planning has reached a major milestone, with 18 full-season vendors and two limited-date vendors confirmed as of July 26. Organizers are working toward a final lineup of 20 to 25 vendors. Applications are especially encouraged from vendors offering toys, leather goods, Christmas books and music, and high-end gifts.
A centerpiece of the new market will be a 26-foot Christmas tree loaned by the Branson Christmas Coalition. The tree and the Branson Meadows clock tower are scheduled to be fully decorated and illuminated by Nov. 1, ahead of the installation of the market village in early November.
Custom-built wooden vendor huts are being designed to evoke the character of traditional European Christmas markets. Construction of the first prototype is scheduled to begin in August, followed by assembly of the remaining huts and other structures. The structures are being designed for seasonal reuse and future expansion of the market.
During November, crews will install the vendor village, tents, lighting, decorations, signs, utilities, sound system and guest areas. Vendor walkthroughs, electrical testing, safety inspections, media previews and influencer visits are planned for the weeks leading up to opening day on Nov. 27.
Entertainment planning will begin in September and is expected to include school choirs, musicians, Santa appearances, seasonal performers, children’s activities and other community programming. Organizers are also working with area churches on plans for a living Nativity scene. A complete daily entertainment schedule will be released closer to opening day.
The Branson Christkindlmarkt is being developed in cooperation with local tourism partners, community organizations, businesses and city officials. Organizers anticipate that the market will attract tens of thousands of residents and regional holiday travelers during its inaugural season, contributing to Branson’s seasonal economy while adding a distinctive, high-quality experience to the destination’s celebrated Ozark Mountain Christmas offerings.
Vendor applications, sponsorship inquiries, school choir participation requests and entertainment submissions are currently being accepted. Volunteer opportunities and additional market information will be announced throughout the summer and fall.
