Branson, MO — Branson will welcome a new holiday tradition in December 2026 with the launch of the Branson Christkindlmarkt, a European-style Christmas market inspired by the festive village markets of Germany, Austria and Hungary.

The Branson Christkindlmarkt will take place over the first three weekends in December, Thursday through Sunday, beneath the iconic clock tower at The Shoppes at Branson Meadows. The area will be transformed into a walkable holiday village filled with lights, music, artisan vendors, and seasonal food and drink.

Designed as an experience rather than a traditional festival, the market will feature decorated wooden huts and curated vendors offering handcrafted gifts, warm foods such as raclette-style melted cheese and traditional holiday beverages including mulled wine and hot chocolate in collectable mugs. Admission to the market will be free, encouraging guests to stroll, linger, and enjoy the atmosphere.

“Our goal is to create something truly special for Branson — a place where families, couples, and visitors can slow down, enjoy the season, and experience the charm of a traditional European Christmas market right here in the Ozarks,” said Jenny Caro, Founder and Executive Producer of the Branson Christkindlmarkt.

The market is being developed in collaboration with local tourism partners and community organizations and is expected to attract both residents and regional holiday travelers. Organizers anticipate tens of thousands of visitors over the three-week run, contributing to Branson’s seasonal economy while offering a new, high-quality holiday experience.

In addition to shopping and dining, the Branson Christkindlmarkt will host a charity raffle benefiting Neighbors and Friends of Table Rock Lake (NFTRL), with a featured prize of a Viking River Christmas Cruise for two, pending final partnership confirmation.

Vendor applications and sponsorship requests are being accepted. School choir participation and entertainment requests are also being accepted. Additional details will be released in phases throughout 2026 as planning continues.
