Community Celebrates Opening of New Reeds Spring Branch of Stone County Library

Branson West—Residents, community leaders, and library supporters gathered on Thursday, April 9, to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for the new Reeds Spring Branch of Stone County Library. The ceremony, hosted by the Stone County Library, took place at 4:00 PM and marked an important milestone in expanding library services in Reeds Spring and the surrounding communities of Stone County.

Attendees gathered to witness the ceremonial ribbon cutting with the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce and tour the new facility, which will provide expanded access to books, technology, educational resources, and community programming for residents of all ages.

The new branch reflects the library’s continued commitment to its mission: “A place to learn, connect, create, and grow.” Library leadership emphasized the importance of the new location in strengthening community access to lifelong learning and information resources.

“A major component of the Library’s current strategic plan was to expand library services,” said the Library Director of the Stone County Library. “This new branch represents our commitment to that goal and ensures that residents in the Reeds Spring area have welcoming access to library services, technology, and opportunities to learn and connect.”

Following the ceremony, guests were invited to explore the new space and learn more about the library’s programs and services. The branch will serve as a hub for literacy, education, and community engagement in the Reeds Spring area.

Community members are encouraged to visit the new Reeds Spring Branch of Stone County Library to discover its collections, programs, and resources.
