Kimberling City, MO – Nonprofit H2Ozarks is inviting residents, landowners, business owners to review and comment on a draft Watershed Management Plan for the Table Rock Lake watershed. The public comment period is open now through May 31st, 2026. A public meeting will be held May 20th from 4-6pm at City of Kimberling City Hall. H2Ozarks encourages anyone who lives, works, or recreates around Table Rock Lake to contribute their insights to this community-driven plan that strives to protect and restore water quality in the lake.
“Our goal is to hear from anyone and everyone we can,” said Carin Love, CEO of H2Ozarks. “A watershed management plan should be a community-led project that represents the concerns and priorities of us all. Because community members were involved with plans like these in the past, we have supported projects like LID landscaping at the Berryville library, financial assistance for farmers, community workshops on local needs, and litter clean up events to protect our lake shorelines. We invite everyone to attend our public meeting on May 20th to discuss how we can make this plan benefit both our community and our natural resources.”
The Table Rock Lake Watershed Management Plan The plan will serve as a roadmap for protecting water quality around the lake by outlining strategies to address nonpoint source pollution and guide restoration efforts across the watershed.
