Outdoor Rooms by Design going out of business after 22 years

Family-owned retailer to begin total liquidation March 5
 
KIMBERLING CITY, Mo. (March 2, 2026) — Outdoor Rooms by Design will close its doors permanently after providing Kimberling City and Table Rock communities with quality outdoor furniture and custom design services for more than two decades. The final liquidation sale opens to the public March 5, and the building is for lease. 
 
Founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Randy and Sharon Renyer, Outdoor Rooms by Design was established as a family-owned business rooted in the outdoor lifestyle of the Table Rock Lake region. After relocating from Topeka, Kansas, nearly 30 years ago, the Renyers built both their family and their business in the Kimberling City area. Over time, their daughters, Casie and Crystal, became actively involved in the business, working alongside their parents and contributing to the personalized service and hands-on design approach that defined Outdoor Rooms by Design. Randy and Sharon have announced their retirement, marking the conclusion of a family business built on decades of hard work, creativity, and commitment to the community.

Outdoor Rooms by Design begins its final sale March 5 at 11966 State Hwy 13. Across the 18,000-square-foot showroom, a wide variety of quality products including outdoor furniture, reclining furniture, mattresses, grills, umbrellas and fire pits will be priced to move quickly. Accessories will be discounted up to 70%. Famous name brands include Amish Country, Berlin Gardens, Blaze Grills, Broil King, C.R. Plastics, FiberBuilt Umbrellas, Frankford Umbrellas, HALO Products Group, Hatteras Hammocks, Homecrest Outdoor Living, Lane Venture, NorthCape, Polywood, Primo Ceramic Grills, Ratana, Seaside Casual, Telescope Casual, Three Birds Casual, Treasure Garden, Tropitone, and Woodard.
