OZARK MOUNTAINS, Mo. (March 24, 2025) — Off the heels of winning top theme park accolades in 2024, Silver Dollar City is once again nominated by USA TODAY as America’s “Best Theme Park,” a title the 1880s theme park hopes to win again. Voting in the 10Best poll starts today at silverdollarcity.com/vote, running through Monday, April 21 at 11 a.m. CDT. Fans of The City can vote once per day, every day, on every device, including phones, tablets and laptops.
“Our Citizens couldn’t be more honored to be nominated in this USA TODAY poll,” remarked Brad Thomas, president of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts. “There’s authenticity all around The City, and this nomination cements our park as a genuine destination for families across America. From our old-fashioned classics, like fresh-baked cinnamon bread and genuine Ozark craft demonstrations, to newfangled fun like Fire In The Hole, the largest indoor coaster in the Heartland. With our record-breaking rides and authentic attractions and award-winning entertainment, there’s something truly for everyone in the family here at Silver Dollar City.”
The theme park has also been nominated in a variety of other categories by 10Best’s expert panel of editors, including Rivertown Smokehouse’s smoked-in-house barbecue for “Best Theme Park Restaurant,” “Best Theme Park Entertainment” for the high-energy cast of Rivertown Ramblers and “Best Roller Coaster” for the revolutionary Time Traveler, the fastest, steepest and tallest spinning roller coaster in America.
For the internationally awarded park’s 65th season, spring bursts to life with a brand-new festival — the Spring Exposition — paired with the opening of The Plaza expansion, the new happening hub of fun and entertainment that doubles the size of the Grand Exposition area of the park. There are must-dos found in every corner of The City during the Spring Exposition, including a new Down-Home Clogging Jamboree with famed America’s Got Talent dancers All That, a multi-colored umbrella-lined Parasol Sky and a new Fest House, with regional samplings of some of our country’s most popular foods, including Cajun, Deep South, Upper Midwest and more.
There’s fun for the whole year, too, with a Silver Dollar City Season Pass — including unlimited admission for the 2025 season, including Summer Celebration, Harvest Festival and An Old Time Christmas, America’s “#1 Theme Park Holiday Event.” For more information on season passes, tickets and operating calendar, visit silverdollarcity.com or download the Silver Dollar City App.
