AMERICAN LEGION POST 637 CELEBRATES AMERICA'S 250TH BIRTHDAY AND POST'S 25TH ANNIVERSARY

KIMBERLING CITY, MO – The American Legion Post 637 celebrated two historic milestones on Tuesday, June 30, 2026: the 250th Birthday of the United States of America and the 25th Anniversary of Table Rock American Legion Post 637.

The celebration began with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony conducted by the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the Post's 25 years of dedicated service to veterans, their families, and the surrounding community.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon, and evening filled with patriotic festivities, including:
• Live music by Joey Holt
• Food and refreshments
• Door prizes and giveaways
• Raffles
• Community fellowship and family-friendly activities
• Recognition of veterans and community supporters

Since its founding in 2001, American Legion Post 637 has been committed to serving veterans, promoting patriotism, supporting youth programs, and strengthening the Table Rock Lake community. As America commemorates its Semiquincentennial—the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence—Post 637 is proud to honor the sacrifices and contributions of generations of Americans who have defended our nation's freedoms.

"This celebration is not only about our Post's 25-year history, but also about honoring the 250-year legacy of the United States and the men and women who have served to preserve our freedoms," said Heather Lawson, Commander of American Legion Post 637.
