The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Cy Bortner as the 2025 Ambassador of the Year, recognizing his outstanding dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the Chamber and the local business community.

Bortner, an Ambassador for three years, is recognized for supporting Chamber programs in a way that reflects the Chamber’s mission every single day. He understands what is important for local businesses, for the community, and for the future of Stone County. He is also an outstanding representative of the Reeds Spring School District, serving as the Community Sponsorship Coordinator, showing how schools and the business community can work together for the good of the whole area.

“What stands out most about Cy is his spirit. He brings energy, kindness, and a positive attitude to everything he is part of,” Ladona Weathers, Member Services/Communications Director said. “Whether he is greeting guests, helping with setup, or simply having a conversation in the room, he makes people feel welcome and valued.”

Throughout the years, Cy has consistently demonstrated what it means to be an exceptional Chamber Ambassador. His enthusiasm for supporting local businesses, his willingness to step in whenever needed, and his gift for connecting people have made a meaningful impact on Chamber programs and events.

“Cy is the kind of person who lifts the room the moment he walks in,” said Sheila Thomas, President/CEO. “He truly embodies the mission of our Ambassador program—building relationships, encouraging engagement, and representing our community with pride.”
